Ten Little Fingers I Have
Everybody has…
(I actually have less, but who’s counting…)
And each finger
is a desire to touch, to bring, to taste, to build…
It is spirit made flesh.
Just as words are an organ of language,
fingers are symbols made of flesh and blood.
Just as fingers evolved and were formed in order to touch things, reach things, grasp, hold, and carry—
but also to change, create, and act in the world—
so too words are an organ that evolved within us in order to… (exactly the same things, and even more):
to touch things, reach things, grasp, hold, and carry—
but also to change, create, and act in the world.
Think about it… and then come back and write to me and share.
